Who we are...

We are one of the oldest providers of professional training in the Levant and we have a reputation for quality and excellence in everything we do.

We started as a division of the renowned Asia Institute, which has had an excellent reputation for its training programmes since its establishment in Damascus in 1983.

The consistently high teaching standards and excellent learning experience that we have been offering our trainees were reflected in the Oxford University badge of honour awarded to us since 1998. In that occasion, we were deemed the best training centre in Syria.

Recently, we became a representative Prime Education, a leading educational consultancy and training provider in the UK, and developed into a fully independent capacity with the name Alpha International Consultancy and Training (ACT).

What we do...

ACT now concerns with two main activities:

1. We provide consultancy to companies as well as individuals on their training needs, potentials and the different options available for development. Such options do not limit themselves to training programs in Syria, Middle East, or Asia but rather include all educational and training programs existing worldwide. We provide this service fully free of charge.
   
   
2. We also provide our own training programs in Syria and abroad. Our training areas include languages, IT, vocational, technical, business and management to companies and groups of individuals. We do this through our strategic local and international partners such as Asia Institute, British Council and Prime Education, UK.

How big we are...

We are bigger than we look and, depending on the time of year, have about 2000 to 5000 trainees studying with us at the same time. We are very proud that they are happy with our services and we hope that you make use of what we can offer.

Our Vision

Having achieved local recognition, our vision now is to maximise investment in people and provide for excellence in training with a focus on results and actual development of individuals and companies trained in the purpose of becoming recognised as a top human resource training option in the Middle East by 2020, and a top Human Resource training option in Africa, Asia and East Europe by 2035.
